Terms of Service

By creating an account, selecting the acceptance boxes, purchasing a subscription, or using Star Unshaken, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use Star Unshaken. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must permit your use. You are responsible for accurate account information, activity under your account, and keeping sign-in credentials secure.

2. Wellness Support, Not Professional Care

Star Unshaken provides self-guided journaling, reflection, grounding, community, reminders, and AI-supported wellness tools. It does not provide medical care, psychotherapy, counseling, diagnosis, treatment, crisis intervention, or emergency services, and it does not guarantee any outcome. Consult a qualified professional about health conditions or treatment decisions.

3. Emergencies

Star Unshaken and Lola are not monitored for crisis messages. If you may hurt yourself or someone else, call emergency services now. In the United States or Canada, call or text 988. See our Crisis Resources.

4. Acceptable Use and Campfire

Do not use the service to threaten, harass, exploit, impersonate, violate privacy or intellectual-property rights, share illegal content, promote self-harm methods, evade safety controls, or disrupt the service. Campfire use is also governed by the Community Guidelines. We may moderate or remove content and restrict accounts to protect users and the service.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of content you create. You grant Star Unshaken a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, reproduce, and display that content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, and improve the service. Campfire content you submit may be visible to other members.

6. AI Features

Lola and other AI features generate automated output that may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or inappropriate. AI is not a human or professional and must not be relied upon for medical, legal, financial, safety, or emergency decisions. See the AI Disclosure.

7. Subscriptions and Trials

Premium is offered at $6.99 per month or $59.99 per year, with a 7-day free trial when displayed on the purchase screen. The exact price and trial eligibility shown by the app store at purchase control and may vary by location. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled through the store account before renewal. The store processes payment, renewals, cancellations, and refunds under its rules. Deleting your Star Unshaken account or app does not cancel an active subscription. Promotional or lifetime access codes are personal, may not be resold, and may be revoked if obtained or used fraudulently.

8. Intellectual Property

Except for user content and third-party materials, Star Unshaken's software, design, branding, prompts, written content, and Lola persona are owned by Star Unshaken or its licensors. We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service for lawful purposes.

9. Availability and Changes

Features may change, become unavailable, or contain errors. We may update, suspend, or discontinue portions of the service and may update these Terms with notice when required.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or guaranteed wellness results. Star Unshaken is not responsible for decisions made in reliance on AI, community, or wellness content. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or liability that cannot legally be limited.

11. Termination

You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time. We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably needed to protect users, enforce these Terms, comply with law, or maintain security.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Vermont and applicable United States federal law, without overriding consumer protections that apply where you live.
